The console couldn’t be any easier to use, with a simple array of controls and clear backlit LCD display. It has 6 pre-set options for workouts which includes a program for variable track speed.
The incline adjustment is manual and moves up to an angle of 15% which presents a great opportunity for you to really push your limits. The track has a maximum speed of 10 mph so when you combine those two upper limits in a routine, you are really going to test your strength and stamina.
To ensure your joints are not subjected to too much stress when you are working out, the treadmill incorporates comfort cushioning which reduces the impact through your legs as your foot lands.

It has a very simple set up, with a walking treadmill that is powered by your strides as you walk, rather than a motor. This requires no electrical power, so it could be set up outdoors in your yard or garden so that you can exercise and get some sun about you too.
If you have the room to pack it in your car it could also be taken with you on picnics and could be set up in the park or even your hotel room when you are staying away.
To increase the effort required to walk, you can adjust the incline from the normal horizontal position up to 15%, although you need to be aware that there is a maximum weight limit of 250 pounds.
Not everything on this treadmill is low-tech, as you have a battery-powered LCD display that can measure your speed, distance traveled, time and calories burned.

Weslo Crosswalk 5.2T Treadmill
The Weslo Crosswalk 5.2T Treadmill crosses the line in terms of just being a fitness product for exercising your legs, as it also has upper body resistance arms to extend workouts to your entire body.
The running track uses Weslo’s Comfort Cell cushioning, so your ankles, knees, and hips are protected from impact stresses as you are running.
Adjusting the angle of the running track is done manually to either the standard horizontal position or at 15% when inclined. The speed of the belt has a maximum of 10 mph and it can be set using the ‘Quickspeed’ control, which is a simple one-touch operation.
The console has an LCD display that can give you readouts of your speed, calories burned, and the distance you have run. Your heart rate is measured using a built-in thumb pulse monitor located on the grips. You can also opt to follow one of the 4 pre-set workout apps, which have been designed by a certified fitness trainer.
Whenever you are running on the treadmill, you can exercise your upper body too, thanks to the ‘Crosswalk’ Workout Arms. These arms are easy to grip and simulate the sort of workout you would get from an elliptical trainer, which means you can optimize the fitness of both your upper and lower body.
Despite the addition of the cross-trainer arms, the treadmill can be folded vertically and stored when it not in use.
Pros
- Upper-body workout arms
- One-touch speed control
- Multi-function LCD display
- Built-in pulse monitor
- Easily folded and stored
Cons
- Manual incline

Weslo Cadence G 3.9 Treadmill
This is a treadmill whose specifications mean it is more suitable for walking exercises than running but despite that limitation, it still offers a value-for-money option for those who want to use a treadmill to improve their fitness.
Although the weslo cadence g 3.9 treadmill could be used for some gentle running, with a motor that is only 2.5 HP and a top speed of 10 mph, it is not going to meet your needs if you want to sprint as part of your routine. However, it is an ideal solution for simple jogging and walking exercises.
To help you with those, there are 8 pre-programmed workouts, which means you don’t have to try to work out your routines from scratch. Simply select an app and follow the routine it offers you.
The ramp can be manually adjusted to one of two positions. Obviously, you have the standard horizontal, and to make the amount of effort required greater, you can lift the ramp to incline at 15%.
Upfront you have the console which is one of the easiest to understand we have ever seen. The buttons are laid out simply and marked very clearly, so you should not find it difficult at all to operate this treadmill. Helping you keep track of everything is the LCD display which can give you readings on your speed, distance, timings, and calories burned
As with any decent treadmill, this has a space-saving design which means it can be folded up whenever you are not using it and is small enough to fit in most closets.
Pros
- 8 pre-programmed workouts
- Simple console layout
- Clear display for readouts
- Folds away for storage
- Underfoot cushioning
Cons
