Life Fitness Treadmill Reviews
Life Fitness T5 Go Treadmill
We start with a treadmill which, as with many Life Fitness treadmills you may come across, would not look out of place at a top gym or sports club. That said, it is suitable for both beginners and more experienced treadmill users.
First, the belt is 60 inches long, so it is ideal for those with longer legs and strides. At 22 inches wide, it also gives runners plenty of space to move or adjust their stride as they are running, without fear of catching the sides and stumbling.
As you are running on the life fitness t5 go treadmill you can select how firm you want the underfoot surface to be, by choosing the standard, firm, or hard settings. This customizes the feel underneath as you are running and enables you the set it to the most comfortable running surface for you.
Manually adjusting the treadmill couldn’t be easier, but what is more impressive is the range of settings you have. Speeds can be set from 0 to 12 mph, and the incline from 0% all the way up to 15% which is really going to give your strength and stamina a real test.
The console is very user-friendly, which is aided by the back-lit LCD display. From the console, you can activate any of the pre-programmed training routines which include cardio workouts and fat burn. The console also allows you to set up a different profile for each member of your household, so each can monitor their own progress.
Other excellent features include an energy saver for when it is not in use, a cup holder for drinks and a motor that is extremely quiet compared to many other treadmills.
Pros
- Very large belt
- Back-lit LCD console display
- Adjustable firmness underfoot
- Up to 15% incline
- Quiet motor
Cons
- Only 13 pre-programs
- No cooling fan
Life Fitness T3 Go Treadmill
Although the life fitness T3 Go treadmill is considered the entry-level model among the Life Fitness range, it has such high specifications that when compared to many other models, it could be mistaken for being a premier model.
Those high specifications start with the console which has a convenient layout. This is complemented by the LCD display where all your speeds, and calorie burn units can be viewed; sensors in the grips will allow you to monitor your heart rate. This is done via telemetry, so there is no need for you to plug in any wires to do this.
The console is used to set speeds and incline which can go to a maximum of 12 mph and 15% respectively. You can also use the quick-start function whereby your own favorite settings for speed and incline are stored by the machine.
The T3 Go also has 13 pre-set exercise routines which can be followed to achieve specific objectives depending on what area of your fitness you want to focus on.
Cushioning on this treadmill is excellent and helps to protect your joints when you are running. It is Life Fitness’s own patented system called FlexDeck and it uses a series of unique shock absorbers to reduce stress on your knees and ankles by up to 30%.
Adding to the package is a useful tablet or smartphone holder, and there is also an energy-smart feature which reduces the power the treadmill draws when it is idle, so you can cut your energy bill as well as your waistline.

Life Fitness F3 Folding Treadmill
This is quite an unassuming and understated looking treadmill compared to many we have seen, but while it may lack a bit of pizzazz, the Life Fitness F3 Treadmill certainly makes up for it in terms of functionality and features.
Looking at the running area first, you will find there is a 20-inch wide belt that provides sufficient width for running. As you run, the cushioning will help reduce the stress which can often blight ankles and knees. As with other Life Fitness treadmills, the F3 has its patented FlexDeck system in place, which reduces stress on the joints by up to 30%.
When in use, the incline of the running surface can be adjusted between 10% and 20% which really offers you a powerful workout at the higher levels. The 3.0 HP motor’s speed can also be adjusted which then translates to speeds on the running surface of up to 10 miles per hour.
About the motor, one of the most intuitive features of this treadmill is it can adjust the output of the motor, based on the weight of the person running. This means the optimum speed is always maintained regardless of the amount of power from the motor required to do so.
This helps to save on energy use and costs as does the energy-saver feature which ensures that the treadmill only draws power when in use, and not when in standby.
